Kasco Aerators & Circulators

Kasco Surface Aerators are the best choice for surface aeration when a decorative fountain pattern is neither necessary or desired. They agitate high volumes of water at the surface to maximize exposure of water to the air for gas exchange. This results in greatly improved dissolved oxygen levels in your lake or pond.

All Kasco Surface Aerators are self-contained, light weight units that float at the surface with a single power cord attached to shore and two or three mooring lines anchoring the aerator in place. This makes these units easy to install and move by a single person. Kasco Surface Aerators are an excellent choice for continuous duty pond or lake aeration or supplemental aeration for quick use in emergency situations.

Kasco Water Circulators are truly year round equipment. In warm months, they are used to create directional flow in ponds and lakes. This turns still, stagnant water into a stream-like environment which helps to reduce aquatic plant growth and inhibit mosquito reproduction. This effect also works to keep floating debris out of bays, marinas, and canals as well as around docks and beaches. By angling the prop downward, they can also be used to destratify and oxygenate deeper bodies of water to help prevent or limit the negative effects of pond turnover.

In the winter, they can be used to keep areas of water open to protect permanent structures, attract waterfowl and help prevent fish kills. Kasco Water Circulators mix the water and move warmer, bottom water to the surface to keep an area of the pond open. Only 1% of the pond's total surface area needs to be ice free to prevent winter-kill situations.
