Aquashade is an EPA registered lake dye for control of aquatic plant growth. The unique blend of blue and yellow dyes gives the water a crisp, clear aqua-blue coloration and is designed to block or shade penetration of the sunlight spectrum that is required for photosynthesis by submerged plants and algae. Aquashade can be used in conjunction with other herbicides, algaecides and aquatic control products and is best applied to ponds or lakes with little or no overflow. Apply before the growing season starts, or when plant or algae growth is still on the bottom, and continue use throughout the season.
